Why Micron?  

Micron, with its Imaging CRA, and Japan's largest medical imaging analysis team, has accumulated the know-how on how to utilize medical imaging at the endpoint of clinical trials and how to support various clinical trials by closely communicating with domestic and foreign key opinion leaders or experts.

Micron’s services

Micron conducts various activities as the only Imaging CRO in Japan that can provide comprehensive support for clinical trials using medical imaging, clinical research and investigator-initiated clinical trials, imaging biomarker developments, image analysis software distribution, and PET facility establishment.

Research showed that as of December 31, 2021, there were 30 approved software programs for disease diagnosis in the controlled medical device category in Japan. Out of these, 8 (more than 25%) were supported by Micron. As a CRO, Micron supports the development of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, as well as the registration, manufacturing and sales of SaMD products.
